Swimsuits
There are, basically, two types of swimsuits: polyester and lycra. Polyester suits tend to last longer, run a little larger, but don’t have the same ‘stretchy’ feel that lycra suits do. Lycra suits hug the body more, wear out a little sooner, and fit a little shorter. To make your suits last as long as possible, take them off immediately after swimming, rinse them out in cold water (hot water ‘cooks’ the chemicals into a suit), and hang-dry.

Polyester leg-suit
To fit properly, the strap of the swimsuit should not come above the bottom of your earlobe. If a suit is too loose to start with, it will ‘bag’ out and you will scoop water. (Unless you want a drag suit)

Zoomers
Zoomers are short, specialty training fins that
should fit snugly and improve leg strength and swim kick.
